A day in the zoo feeding animals with my children

My kids feeding a wild horseWe love animals.

Our kids are just wild about animals. So when we moved here last autumn, it was very obvious that we went up to the local zoo. They had a hard time. So we decided to help. My husband has been out many weekends in hard frost for voluntary work. But today when the sun shined and the temperature was around freezing point was the day, when the girls should come out to the zoo, and help too.

They have been excited, for days. They have been counting the days. And today in the morning I have been waked: "Mum, come up, we have to go to the zoo!!"

I have give them good with clothes. But they wanted to wear the T-shirt they received from the zoo - so everybody can see, that they work for the zoo. I have to add, as the bottomline, the zoo is closed. Winter-closed. No visitors. They are preparing for the easter-opening. And today the girls was there, to help to feed the animals mostly for fun.

But the feeling, that they want to work for the zoo, was strong. So they got their T-shirts on, just below their overalls. So nobody actually saw their "working-T-shirts."

And we came up to the zoo.
They were so happy.

And any kid would have been. ´Cause kids loves animals.

They were feeding animals,

Feeding the animals in the zoo
they were smelling,

My daughter smelling at the camel
touching,

Children feeding a wild horse at the zoo
listening,

My child and a goat at the zoo
and experiencing.

Children experiencing animals in the zoo

They were fascinated.

And they got a big white tiger. As a thank you. (Mostly for their fathers great work and because they had to miss him all those weekends.) So now I can post a picture with the white tiger, and the girls in their working T-shirts. So someone will see them, that they work for the zoo.

My two lovely daughter

But most of all, I think you should try it yourself! Because it is great FUN!
